![]() We are blessed to have so many of them in the CALS catalogue. These print the original black-and-white issues in black-and-white, and the new color issues in color. The most complete way to enjoy every single one of the thousands of progs is through the archival series: "Judge Dredd: The Complete Case files." These usually hold about 50 progs, so there are over 30 of these large volumes. Here, I will list collected Dredd stories in programme release order. New stories are published serially in color. Originally, these issues were published in black-and-white, but have been colorized for recent reprints. To identify a specific issue of Judge Dredd, we refer to which Prog the issue was included in. magazine is called a Programe, or "Prog" for short. That means that the Judge Dredd character that is included in new comics today is intended to be the very same character that appeared in 1977. Judge Dredd storyline has been ongoing since its inception, without rebooting the continuity like D.C. In the United States, IDW comics holds a SEPERATE license to the character, writing their own stories that are independant to those published in 2000 A.D. Judge Dredd comics are published serially in the british magazine "2000 A.D." New stories come out monthly.
